Responsibilities:

The Director is responsible for the equitable and efficient administration of social services within the community. The Director initiates action to help clients to receive essential aid through other agencies or individuals and becoming self-supporting.

Services Provided:

We help people in emergency situations - no monetary resources - food - prescriptions - utilities - no living quarters. As an advocate for people who cannot function in various areas, the Director interacts with agencies, physicians, and churches on behalf of our clients. We assist in filing applications, contact and assist families in a myriad of ways. In addition, we run holiday programs in coordination with the fire department, business community, services organizations, churches, and the community at large. These programs provide gifts, clothing, and food gift certificates for the needy, the unemployed, underemployed, disabled, and elderly. We have a good will fund which is subsidized solely through contributions and provides funds for people in need. We also administer a food clothing, furniture, and household goods program. All programs are funded by donations.
