1. An identification number must be obtained from Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission. A Charitable identification number is also required if applicable to your organization. Please provide the Borough Clerk's office with a copy of the identification number certificates. Applications cannot be approved until the certificates are on file.
2. Approval of Raffles applications by the Mayor & Council: Applications must be in the Borough Clerk's office ten days prior to the Mayor and Council Public Meeting which is the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
3. After a waiting period of 14 days, the raffles license will be mailed to you at which time the tickets may be printed.

Once you have this number, an application filled out in quadruplicate must be filed with the Borough Clerk's office approximately two months prior to the event. Following adoption of a resolution by the Governing Body of Dumont, the application has to be approved by the State and a license can be issued. Do not have tickets printed prior to approval.
